Aye, I be Lickety Split of The Pirates of Treasure Island. It has been said that I be the son of a pirate captain so ruthless that his name can only be whispered in the realms of Pirate legends. As for me mother, she was a beauty whose face was matched only by that of Helen of Troy and she would have been able launched a thousand pirate ships upon her whim if she bein so inclined. I however never met me parents for I was given by them to a lady of small stature whom me parents trusted to watch over me and keep me safe from those who might want to do harm and teach me the ways of the sea and how to be as ruthless of pirate captain as me father was. For Nana this must have been an undaunting task, for I never felt I had the will to hurt others only to be kind and make those around me laugh.
